CCQC 2023 was conducted in a grand manner on 25th & 26th September 23 at Hotel Marigold Greenland Hyderabad. The convention was completed well in time as planned.

Chapter Chairman Sri. Bala Krishna Rao welcomed guests and introduced the chief guest and guest of honor. The inaugural session on 25th September 23 was inaugurated by Her Excellency the Governor of Telangana and Puducherry Dr. Smt. Tamilisai Soundarajan. Awards for best organizations practicing and sustaining Quality concept activities were given by the Chief Guest to 11 organizations. The keynote address was given by Dr. G Sateesh Reddy, Former Chairman DRDO & Former Scientific Advisor to Government of India. In his address he stressed upon producing quality products and to be a global leader in the export market. He also emphasized upon making the "Make in India" campaign a success culminating in making the country self-reliant. Sri K. N. Rao the cement wizard from My Home Group addressed delegates and explained reducing the Carbon footprint and sustainability aspect.

The Valedictory session on 26th September 2023 was graced by Sri. Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Minister for Rural Development and Rural Water supply.
Sri. G. Ravender Rao, Chairman Yashoda Group of Hospitals addressed the gathering and gave away respective awards to all the participating teams. Sri Devi Prasad, Director Centre for Good Governance graced the event and gave away awards.

• A Number of new member organizations participated for the first time and supported the event through participation of their teams.
• 24% of the total number of case studies presented were allied concepts.

• The Best of Convention Award - Pure Services Sector - M/s NTTF Gannavaram.
• The convention was well supported by all member organization with spontaneous sponsorships received from M/s NMDC, M/s ECIL & M/s BEL.
• This year instead of the usual entertainment program post lunch on 26th, a cultural program was organized where school children from BVBPS BHEL township presented classical dances. This was followed by a Magic/ Mimicry show and participation by delegates.
• This convention saw participation by QC teams from the Pharma Sector.

This year CCQC 2022 of Hyderabad Chapter was conducted in "physical mode" on 15th and 16th September 2022 at Hotel Marigold Greenland, Hyderabad with great fan fare. QC teams from member organizations actively participated in this event with great enthusiasm. The event paved the way for participants to get away from their routine work and gave them an opportunity to interact with their colleagues from their other units and organizations.

Some of the Highlights of CCQC 2022 :

• The convention was inaugurated on 15th September 2022 by Shri. K T Rama Rao, Hon'ble Minister for IT, Industries&Municipal Administration, with a thought provoking motivating speech. Shri Vemula Prashanth Reddy, Hon'ble Minister of Roads, Buildings, Legislative Affairs and Housing Development, Telangana was the Key note speaker at the inauguration session.
• NMDC, BHEL, BEL, Ramco Cements Ltd., TSRTC, Usha International Ltd, Thermo Pads Pvt. Ltd. Thermo Cables Ltd., HAL, Toshiba Transmission & Distribution Systems, RenewSys India Pvt. Ltd., & My Home Cement Pvt. Ltd Mellacheruvu Nalgonda district were awarded by the Chief Guest for their contribution towards QC movement in their respective organizations.
• The Valedictory Session was chaired by Shri C.V. Ramalu, Justice, Lokayukata, Govt. of Telangana and Shri V. Srinivas Goud Minister for Prohibitation & Excise, Youth Service & Tourism, Govt. of Telangana, graced the occasion and gave away the prizes.
• No CCQC of Hyderabad Chapter has never ended without the entertainment segment where participants very actively participated. Our own Dada (DK Bhattacharya) who very effectively played the role of film actor Raj Kapoor, the eternal "Showman Man" of Indian cinema. His performance enthralled audience very much and was greatly appreciated.

Members of the Governing Council of Hyderabad Chapter places on record their appreciation for the excellent services rendered by soft copy evaluators, Judges, Office staff, Hall Managers and Support staff in making this event a grand success. Our thanks to Ms/ Usha International for sparing volunteers as Support staff who did a wonderful job.

QCFI Hyderabad Chapter once again thanks all participating organizations and QC team members for their support to the event and look forward to greater participation in subsequent Chapter conventions in the near future.

The Convention was inaugurated by the chief guest, Hon'ble Vice President of India, Shri Venkaiah Naidu. He gave a very captivating inaugural address covering Quality Circles and the need of the hour of citizens in the present socio-economic situation of India. The speech was listened with rapt attention by the audience and was appreciated by one and all.

Hon'ble Vice President of India, Sri, M. Venkaiah Naidu motivated the workforce with his address and said that quality concepts trigger the creative potential of individuals with full understanding and command over the work environment. He emphasized that working together will provide synergy to the individual results and this will in turn help organizations to improve customer satisfaction. He desired that this concept should be introduced in school level education also.

Shri Raman Kumar, Chairman, Aries Group of Technology group & CASHe, delivered his speech as Key note speaker.

Sri, P. S. Rama Mohan Rao, former Governor of Tamil Nadu State, who was founder chairman of Hyderabad chapter was felicitated on this occasion by the Vice President. In his speech, Sri. Rama Mohan Rao, very lucidly traced the origin of Quality Circles in Japan in the 1960s and how it had helped Japan to become a world leader in turning out quality products and services. He urged the Vice President to see how this concept can be introduced in our schools and colleges for the benefit of posterity and for long lasting results.

Honorable Vice President gave away the awards for the following nine Organizations who had contributed to the Quality movement- M/s BHEL, NMDC, TSRTC, BEL, The Ramco Cements, Mahindra and Mahindra, Thermo Cables, Thermo Pads & Usha International Limited.

Sri. Ch.Balakrishna Rao, Chairman, QCFI Hyderabad Chapter in his welcome address emphasized the empowerment of employees to create participative culture, sense of belonging to enhance Quality, Productivity, Safety and Customer satisfaction. The case studies being presented during the convention had saved crores of rupees to their respective industries and the nation.

The Valedictory Session was chaired by Hon'ble Justice Sri. Amarnath Goud, Telangana High Court and Hon'ble Minister Sri. Koppula Eshwar Minister of All Welfare Departments, graced the occasion and gave away the prizes.

The practical nitty-gritties of the convention were well taken care by Sri.D.K.Bhattacharya, Mrs. C.Jayalakshmi, Sri. M.S. Narender, Sri. K.R.S.Reddy, Sri. N.V.Subbarao and a team of volunteers.

Quality Circle Forum of India, Hyderabad Chapter conducted 32nd Annual Chapter Convention at Hotel Marigold on 6th & 7th Sept.2018

Hon’ble Minister Sri Thummala Nageshwara Rao R&B inaugurated the function and give away awards for the organisation supporting the quality movement.

BHEL, BEL, NMDC, HAL, TSRTC, Mahindra & Mahindra, Thermo Group, My Home, Penna Cement, Ramco Cement and Usha International received awards from Hon’ble Minister.

Minister complimented QCFI for services rendered by them in promoting quality improvement in AP and Telangana.

Mr. Sunil Sharma, Principal Secretary, (TR&B), graced occasion and informed that the Telangana Govt has spent Rs. 16,000 crores for the development of roads. He informed that the quality of the roads has improved a lot because of effort by their engineers. He told that quality is essential for survival of any organisation.

He said that TSRTC is doing a considerable work on passenger satisfaction by offering a verity of good service. The workshops are implementing good quality concepts.

Chairman of the Hyderabad Chapter Sri Balakrishna Rao in his address said that 205 innovative projects were presented in this Convention covering safety, productivity, quality, etc. Over 1100 delegates attended the event.

The simple time-tested technique to unleash the creative potential is through small group activity such as Quality Circles, 5S, Kaizen to extract best out of employees.

Chief Guest of Valedictory event were Sri Vivek Venkataswamy, Advisor to Govt. of Telangana and Sri Rajesham Goud, Chairman State finance Commission address the delegates and gave away gold and silver awards. The Best of the convention is awarded to TC69M QC from BHEL RC Puram.

31th Annual Convention of Hyderabad Chapter of Quality Circle Forum of India was inaugurated by the Shri Naini Narshimha Reddy is the Home Minister of Telangana and the valedictory fuction by Shri Mohammad Mahmood Ali is the Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana.

30th Annual Convention of Hyderabad Chapter of Quality Circle Forum of India was inaugurated by the Governor of Maharashtra Sri Vidyasagar Rao and Sri Harish Rao, Irrigation Minister; Govt. of Telangana was a Guest of Honour.

The Governor gave awards to 9 companies viz., NMDC, NTPC, BHEL, BEL, TSRTC, Ramco Cements, Usha International, My Home Industries and Thermo Group of Industries for supporting Quality Circle movement.

In his address Sri Harish Rao said that how quality is important in all the activities in Govt. also.

In his welcome address Forum’s Chairman Sri CH Balakrishna Rao said that Forum stands for personality development of employees but as a by-product of this exercise of Quality Circles have resulted in saving Crores of rupees for participating organization.

A sample study of improvement projects from three organizations has saved Rs. 2.81, 9.00, 10.00 Crores of rupees to their respective organization. For any top management the language of money is the one that speaks better.

Hyderabad Chapter of Quality Circle Forum of India

The concluding session of 30th convention of Hyderabad Chapter of Quality Circle Forum India (QCFI) ended with valedictory address by the respected octogenarian, former minister, Chairman, Janaki Group of Industries, Sri Anand Rao Garu and Smt. Uma Ghurka, Technical Director, Thermo Group of Industries. These two illustrious dignitaries gave away the awards to 160 innovative teams from various industries.

The Best of Convention Award in the Manufacturing sector was awarded to Ramco Cement, Jayanthipuram, Chairman Sri Balakrishna Rao welcomed the guests and Sri Manohar Hegde announced the awards and Sri Vishal Karan proposed vote of thanks.
