Inauguration of Quality Circle Forum of India, Hyderabad Chapter on 13th September 1986 by Dr. N.T. Rama Rao, the than Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

An exclusive program on QCs was organized for Ethiopian delegates in association with Engineering Staff College of India.

Spreading the wings of Quality Circles to service sector, a 1-day Seminar on QCs was conducted for Banks and other Financial Institution.

Quality Circle for educational institution was organized at Hyderabad Public School. Principals of various schools were invited. Dr. I.V. Subba Rao, IAS Secretary, schools education, was the Chief Guest. A painting competition for children on Quality theme was also conducted.

QCFI, Hyd. Chapter organized Quality month in November in associate with APSRTC. Minister for Transportation and Minster for Education were Chief Guests. VC-MD of APSRTC, Sri Gautam Kumar Presided.

Implemented Quality Concepts in delivering projects for the Kerala Government in Sectors such as Education, Health, Police, Revenue, Registration, Food and Civil Suppliers, Local Self Government Department, Social Welfare Department along with QCFI-HQ.

Celebrated completion of 20 years of success in the propagation of Quality Circles. A special Souvenir was published on the occasion. Book in Telugu on 5-S and QC Concept and Implementation published.

Chapter newsletter has been redesigned and christened “Gyana Deepika”.

Silver Jubilee celebration of QCFI-Hyderabad Chapter upon completion of 25 years was performed.
